The Literacy Connection Initiative

That is the golden number of books needed at home to cultivate reading skill so that graduating from high school is attainable.

We love hosting free book fairs, but there are not enough hours in the day for us to reach every child who needs books.

We want to partner with other groups who interact with kids and equip them to host their own free book fair.

The Literacy Connection Campaign focuses on bridging the gap between children who have books they have out grown and children who desperately need books at home to build their reading skills.

Book Drive for Kids wants to increase our capacity of book donations so we can donate books to teachers, and other community leaders to host their own free book fairs.

Books are powerful tools that ignite curiosity, imagination, laughter and bring hope. We can't wait any longer! Children must learn to read fluently in elementary school or it's likely they will not learn to read well ever. By gifting books of choice directly to children for them to "keep forever and ever" in their home, we have witnessed so much joy, excitement, and enthusiasm for reading from students and teachers alike.
