Hello my name is David Chavarria and I am a U17 athlete on the team Dallas United Crew. I have been rowing for about 2 years now and my boat (U16 8) placed 1st place at central regional championships and 13th at nationals. As I spend more time participating in this sport the more I have learned to fall in love with it, so that’s why I need your help. As we have toured other crews in different parts of the nation we have come to realize that a lot of our equipment is outdated which gives us a disadvantage in races. Therefore we are trying to purchase some new equipment and boats. We have a team goal of $90,000 and I have an individual goal to raise $1,500.
