Children Need Their FATHER (Bob R)

They say a PICTURE is worth  a thousand words. Can you see the JOY this 5 yr old boy has just being with his father? Can you sense the LOVE that Clay, the father, has for his 5 yr old son? Clay recently attended my 10 week FOCUS+ class for fathers. 

His son has leukemia but is in remission. Clay has struggled over several years with his sobriety. Recently has had a CPS case that meant his son was removed from the home. But he found a support system from his church, Lewisville Lighthouse, and pastor Richard Brunson. He also found a support system via the FOCUS+ for fathers class. Through the 10 weeks, fathers learn how to make sustainable changes in their lives in order to have their children return to their homes. The fathers bond together in a type of "brotherhood".  We see fathers step up to the plate for their children. They learn how to be actively involved in their children's lives. It truly is "LIFE CHANGING".

Clay is fighting for his son the right way. At times  working more than two jobs at a time while doing all the services required of him. I was so impressed at his dedication to do what it takes to get his son back home. I told him he earned my respect and admiration. Clay is creating a new path, a new legacy for his family that will impact multiple generations to come.
