Ascend Dallas supports the things that are most important to me – family, education, and support of women. As a solo working mother of three girls, I would not be where I am today, and able to support my family, without education and financial literacy. While I had the benefit of attending college and having a supportive nuclear family growing up, not all women do. Providing resources and time to an organization that lifts up women and their families is one of the most impactful ways that I can pay it forward and help to impact the lives of women and girls across North Texas. And I hope you will do the same and join me in donating to Ascend on this very important North Texas Giving Day.

Ascend Dallas has been empowering women in our community for generations. For over 118 years, our clients have been resourceful and determined, working to create positive change in their lives and build brighter futures for themselves and their families. We are honored to stand alongside them, providing the support, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive.

Through our two impactful programs, Economic Advancement (EA) and Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP), Ascend Dallas provides clients with the support and resources to build financial stability, advance their careers, and create stronger futures for themselves and their families.

Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) connects first-time mothers with registered nurses who provide in-home support from pregnancy through their child’s second birthday. As a nationally recognized, evidence-based community health program, NFP addresses medical, nutritional, and social-emotional needs, giving mothers and babies access to the resources and support they need during this critical stage.

Economic Advancement (EA) helps clients strengthen their financial stability and career opportunities through education and individualized coaching. Clients receive support in areas such as personal finance, career development, and financial wellness while working toward goals that include reducing debt, increasing savings, improving credit, and advancing their careers. The program combines cohort-based learning with one-on-one coaching to help clients build a stronger financial future.
