Paper For Water - Clean Water Fundraiser

Based in Dallas, TX, Paper For Water is a non-profit that raises awareness about the importance of access to clean water through educational programming and community engagement. Their fundraising efforts contribute to solving the water crises by funding water and sanitation projects. Paper For Water's local youth leadership program,The Changemakers, equips youth with skills in philanthropy, public speaking, event planning, and entrepreneurship. I am a Changemaker and I am committed to using my skills to raise awareness on the importance for every child to have access to clean water to improve their overall health, increase their ability to focus on their education, and provide hope for the future. My favorite part about being a Changemaker is learning how to create oragami.  So far, I have created a butterfly, heart, circle, and football. But my favorite memory is when the President of the Changemakers, William, taught me how to create a water bomb! I love creating orgami! However, once I learned that a child dies every 15 - 21 seconds due to the lack of access to clean water, I became dedicated to the cause. Don't you agree? Every child deserves to have clean water!
