At Jesús Moroles Expressive Arts Vanguard, education is more than just textbooks and tests; it’s about nurturing creativity, embracing diversity, and fostering a community where every child can thrive. Our school, a proud magnet and neighborhood institution, stands as a beacon of high-level learning and artistic expression in Dallas ISD. Yet, despite our unwavering commitment to our students, we face significant challenges due to limited funding.

Our Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is the heart of our school’s support system. They ensure that classrooms have the essentials for teaching and learning, and they go above and beyond to provide for our students, especially in times of need. Whether offering help to families during the holidays or stepping in during a crisis, the PTO uplifts spirits and strengthens the sense of community that is vital for our diverse school.

But there’s more to do. This year, we are raising funds to improve our auditorium, the gathering place for school-wide events, performances, and celebrations. We are also seeking support for our PE programs, which play a critical role in keeping students healthy and active, but often fall behind in resources. And we hope to provide essential supplies for our nurse’s office, ensuring every child has access to the care and comfort they need throughout the school day.
