When you donate to Book Drive for Kids, you are NOT just giving a book, you are giving a child the joy of reading. Reading for pleasure sparks imagination, builds confidence, and strengthens literacy skills.
At Book Drive for Kids, we host free book fairs throughout the DFW area. We go to elementary schools where 70% or more of the students come from disadvantage backgrounds. Every child get to browse tables filled with books, select one that excites them, they then get to write their name in it, and take it home to enjoy and share!
Our goal is simple but powerful: to place 20 books in every household where children currently have none. With as little as $5, you can put a book into the hands of a child who will thrive because of your generosity.
