At Sharing Life, we work hard and take the time to truly address people’s needs. As a team of staff, volunteers, partners, and board members, we are resourceful and dedicated—meeting urgent needs like food, clothing, and shelter, while also helping neighbors take steps forward, whether that’s continuing their education, learning new job skills, or taking control of their health.

Our services go beyond the food pantry—we also offer an ePantry, clothing closet, financial workshops and coaching, GED prep and testing. And that list doesn’t even touch on the seasonal programs we provide throughout the year.

At the end of the day, providing these services costs money. The need in our community is greater than ever, while resources are running thin. That’s why we need the support of funders and generous people who want to give back and invest in their community. En Sharing Life trabajamos duro y nos tomamos el tiempo para escuchar y responder a las necesidades de nuestros vecinos. Como equipo de personal, voluntarios, socios y miembros de la mesa directiva, hacemos todo lo posible para ser creativos y dedicados—ayudando a cubrir necesidades urgentes como comida, ropa y refugio, pero también apoyando a nuestros vecinos que quieren dar el siguiente paso, ya sea continuar sus estudios, aprender nuevas habilidades de trabajo o tomar control de su salud.

Nuestros servicios van más allá de la despensa de alimentos—también contamos con despensa electrónica, ropero comunitario, talleres y asesoría financiera, además de preparación y exámenes de GED. Y eso ni siquiera incluye los programas de temporada que ofrecemos durante el año.

Al final del día, ofrecer estos servicios cuesta dinero. La necesidad en nuestra comunidad es más grande que nunca, y los recursos se están agotando.
