Protecting the Past. Inspiring the Future.

Founded in 1995 by Guinea Bennett-Price, Anyika McMillan-Herod, and Tonya Holloway, Soul Rep Theatre Company has grown from a grassroots community theatre into one of the nation's leading Black theatre companies. Since its return in 2014, Soul Rep has produced acclaimed regional and world premieres, championed new voices through new play festivals, and inspired thousands through transformative arts education and community engagement.

Today, Soul Rep continues its mission to protect and progress the Black Theatre experience by producing bold, thought-provoking work that celebrates Black history, culture, and creativity.

Your support helps us continue bringing powerful stories to the stage, developing new artists, expanding arts education, and creating meaningful experiences for our community. Together, we can ensure that Black stories continue to be told—for this generation and the next.
