Oh Snap! Hands-On STEM Learning

Help us bring Oh Snap! to more students

For students to see themselves in STEM, they need opportunities to experience it firsthand: to build, experiment, solve problems and discover what they can do.

Oh Snap! gives students in grades 4–6 that opportunity. Using Snap Circuits® kits, purpose-built curriculum and guided activities, students explore STEM concepts through hands-on learning designed to build skills, confidence and interest over time.

And we're seeing results. Oh Snap! reached approximately 2,400 students in 2025. Among participating students surveyed, 65% reported increased confidence in STEM, 65% reported increased interest in STEM, and 90% said they enjoyed working with the kits.

Help us reach more students

High Tech Rising is expanding Oh Snap! with six video-based instructional modules that will make the program easier to deliver through schools, clubs and community organizations without requiring a STEM expert in the room. Your North Texas Giving Day contribution will help fund:

• Snap Circuits® kits and program materials
• New video-based instructional content
• Program delivery and expansion to additional communities

Our North Texas Giving Day goal is $10,000. Every $1,000 raised can bring the Oh Snap! experience to approximately 85 students. Reaching our goal can help bring hands-on STEM learning to approximately 850 students.
