Frankie’s House Animal Rescue stands as a haven for dogs in need. Founded by Jaime, whose lifelong passion for animals began with rescuing strays in Waxahachie, TX, this 501(c)(3) nonprofit is a labor of love. Jaime and her family created Frankie’s House to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets while promoting responsible pet ownership and animal welfare. It’s more than a rescue—it’s a commitment to giving every dog a loving home.
Frankie’s House transforms lives across Ellis, Dallas, and Tarrant Counties. Dogs arrive neglected or ill but leave healthy, ready for forever families. North Texas Giving Day, the region’s largest giving event, fuels this mission. Early giving began August 28, 2025, leading to the main event on September 18, from 6 a.m. to midnight. Your support can fund vital needs: vet care, food, and supplies for dogs in our communities.
Veterinary care is central to Frankie’s House. A $25 gift covers a rabies vaccine, safeguarding dogs and neighbors. For $100, a dog is sterilized, reducing overpopulation. Heartworm prevention, crucial in Texas’s climate, costs $50 for six months per dog. Flea and tick treatments, at $40, relieve discomfort. A $30 check-up catches issues early, while $15 microchips ensure lost pets return home. Dental care, starting at $50, eases pain. With $3,000, we can provide these services for 20–30 dogs, boosting their adoptability.
Food keeps dogs thriving. A $50 donation buys a 30-pound bag of kibble or 25 cans of wet food, feeding a dog for weeks. With $1,250, Frankie’s House can nourish dozens of dogs or support a pet pantry for families in Ellis County and beyond. Supplies like leashes, collars, crates, and beds—costing $10–$50 each—bring comfort and shine at adoption events. A $750 allocation equips dogs for new homes, charming adopters in Midlothian or Dallas.
This North Texas Giving Day, Frankie’s House aims to raise $5,000 for dogs in Ellis County and surrounding areas. The plan: $3,000 for vet care, $1,250 for food, and $750 for supplies. NorthTexasGivingDay.org covers fees, maximizing every dollar. A local business pledged a $1,000 matching gift, doubling donations up to that amount. In 2024, matching funds raised $9 million across 3,200 nonprofits, showing the power of North Texas giving.
Jaime’s vision drives Frankie’s House. From saving strays in Ennis to hosting adoption events in Fort Worth, we embody the heart of North Texas.
