Student Emergency Fund

The Student Emergency Fund (SEF) exists to help UNT Health students navigate unexpected financial challenges so they can stay enrolled, focused and on track to achieve their educational goals. Life can change quickly, and a sudden emergency — such as an accident, illness, housing instability or other unforeseen circumstance — can place an immediate strain on a student’s ability to continue their education.

The SEF provides short‑term financial assistance to enrolled UNT Health students experiencing temporary hardship as a result of these unexpected events. All applications are thoughtfully reviewed by the Student Assistance Resource Center (SARC) to ensure support is provided to students with the greatest need.
