About UNT Health Fort Worth

Founded in 1970 with the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, UNT Health Fort Worth has grown into one of the nation’s leading graduate academic health centers. Today, UNT Health includes six colleges: the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, the College of Biomedical and Translational Sciences, the College of Public Health, the UNT System College of Pharmacy, the College of Nursing and the College of Health Professions, home to Physician Assistant Studies and Physical Therapy.

More than 2,300 students learn in an interdisciplinary environment that reflects real-world health care. They are trained to work in teams, communicate with compassion and keep patients and communities at the center of care.

UNT Health is also home to multiple research centers and institutes focused on discovery, innovation and improving lives. Across the institution, faculty, staff and students are working every day to address urgent health needs and improve outcomes for the people we serve.

Within those areas, we prioritize programs and projects that focus on Whole Health, address Health Disparities, and support Innovation and Entrepreneurship and the benefits those bring to our community.

We’ve highlighted a variety of programs worthy of your investment: Student Emergency fund, this is a critical part of the supports system that UNT Health provides our students. The Pediatric Health Medical Clinic brings critically needs free medical care to communities that need it the most across the metroplex; and Scholarships that help further the funding of a students education
