Ju, Kira, and Kiela Reach For the Stars!

Dear Friends and Family, 

This year, we are so grateful to have found a school that feels like home for our family. Julius is thriving in 5th grade, Kira is blossoming in 1st grade, and little Kiela (our “Gummy”) is just beginning her Montessori journey in PreK3. Watching each of them learn and grow in their own way at Montessori Academy at Onesimo Hernandez has been such a gift.

Finding a public Montessori option has truly been a treat — the chance for our children to experience this unique method of learning in a diverse, supportive community without the barriers of private tuition. It’s proof that Montessori can be both accessible and transformative.

But creating this kind of environment takes resources. To keep Montessori education thriving at our school, we rely on the support of our community. North Texas Giving Day helps us provide what the district cannot:

• Field day shirts so every student feels included

• Transportation for field trips that expand learning beyond the classroom

• Teacher and staff appreciation, reminding them how valued they are

• Community events like Día de los Muertos and the Color Fun Run that bring families together

• Garden and campus beautification, giving kids a beautiful space to explore and learn
