MAOH PTO works to promote a greater sense of community among our school's families, teachers and staff, who live across the metroplex, through fun and engaging annual events including our Fall Movie Night, Cultural Potluck Events, Color Fun Run, Summer Kickoff Block Party and more! We also support our amazing teachers & staff through appreciation events throughout the year.

MAOH PTO also works to enhance academic opportunities for our students by raising funds for supplementary classroom materials, field trips, and educational events, to name a few, while also working to educate the public-at-large about the unique benefits of a Montessori education.

Giving Activity

Mission

As the Parent Teacher Organization (MAOH PTO), our mission is to ensure this vision thrives. We:

-Support the goals outlined in the campus improvement plan

-Provide resources and Montessori materials for classrooms

-Build a positive, inclusive culture for students, staff, and families

-Encourage meaningful parental involvement in the education of our Montessorians

Through our work, we serve as a bridge between families, teachers, and school leadership to ensure every child has the tools they need to succeed.

We've provided teachers with necessary Montessori materials, built a framework around our community, conduct several social events and fundraisers, and partner with our school leadership on recruitment events.

Needs

North Texas Giving Day funds go directly toward creating opportunities for our students, teachers, and families. Your support helps us provide:

-Field Day shirts for every student and staff member

-Transportation for enriching field trips

-Teacher and staff appreciation throughout the year

-Community events that celebrate culture and connection, such as Día de los Muertos and the Spring Color Fun Run

-Campus and garden beautification to keep our learning spaces vibrant and welcoming

With your help, we can continue building a strong, inclusive community where every child thrives.

Equity Statement

We believe Montessori should not be reserved for the few — it should be a public promise available to every child, in every neighborhood.

That’s what makes MAOH unique: a public Montessori school where diversity is celebrated, equity is prioritized, and every child is nurtured to become a compassionate, global thinker.

By supporting our PTO, you are not just funding events or supplies — you are investing in a model of education that is inclusive, accessible, and transformative for Dallas children.
