Did you have a favorite book as a kid?  Do you have fond memories of your mom or dad or grandparent reading you stories when you were young?  

Books! They transport us to another time and place, they foster dreams and feed imaginations.  They provide a foundation for future learning. Your donations will help put books into the hands of kids who might not have the resources to purchase their own. For a lot of the kids we serve, this is the very first book they have ever owned.   

At Book Drive For Kids, we host free book fairs throughout the DFW area at elementary schools where 70% or more of the students come from disadvantage backgrounds.  Every child gets to browse tables filled with books, select one that excites them, write their name in it, and take it home to enjoy and share!

Book Drive for Kids isn't just about handing books out, we want to share the joy of reading. Reading for pleasure sparks imagination, builds confidence, and strengthens literacy skills. 

Our goal is simply this:  to place 20 books in every household where children currently have none.  With as little as $5, you can put a book into the hands of a child who will thrive because of your generosity.
