We’re building more than a shelter — we’re building a future.

For decades, Noah’s Ark Animal Shelter has stretched every inch of our current building to save lives. But the reality is clear: the number of animals in need has outgrown our space. Each year, hundreds of lost, abandoned, and surrendered pets come through our doors, and our small facility is stretched beyond its limits.

To continue saving lives and serving our community, we must build a new shelter designed for long-term care, safety, and healing.

Progress So Far

• ✅ Land secured: 6 beautiful acres on Moss Lake Road (FM 1201) have been donated for our future home.

• ✅ Architect and blueprint complete, with designs centered on animal wellbeing.

• ✅ Community investment: with the help of sponsors and donors, we’ve already raised about one-third of the total funds needed.

Why This Shelter Is Needed

Our current building was never designed for the volume of animals we serve today. Overcrowding forces dogs to share limited runs, cats to live without enough quiet recovery areas, and medical care to be performed in makeshift spaces. Every day, more animals arrive, and the need only grows.

The new shelter will directly address these challenges by providing:

• 🐶 Indoor/outdoor dog runs with safe space to exercise and rest

• 🐱 Cat and kitten playrooms with outdoor access, condos, and jungle gyms

• 💙 Adoption meet-and-greet rooms where families can bond with pets in a welcoming space

• 🌳 Outdoor group play yards for enrichment and healthy interaction

• 🏥 A surgery suite and modern medical areas for lifesaving care

• ✨ Purpose-built housing that reduces stress, improves recovery, and provides dignity for every pet

This isn’t just about a building — it’s about ensuring every animal who needs us has space, comfort, and proper care.

What’s Next

To move from blueprint to building, we must fund Phase 1 — covering architectural fees, permits, site preparation, and early construction needs. The full project will cost more than $1 million, and every step forward brings us closer to breaking ground.
