Support Bridges SafeHouse on North Texas Giving Day 2026

This North Texas Giving Day, we are coming together to support the safety, stability, and daily needs of mothers and children served by Bridges SafeHouse. Every family who walks through our doors deserves a safe place to heal, grow, and take the next step toward independence.

This year, funds raised will go toward three important needs: securing a new entrance gate, replacing office flooring, and purchasing a reliable vehicle similar to an SUV to help transport clients and children to essential appointments and services.

These needs may seem practical, but their impact is deeply personal.

A secure entrance gate helps protect the families living at Bridges SafeHouse and provides an added layer of safety for residents, children, staff, volunteers, and visitors. For a mother in crisis, knowing she and her children are in a protected environment brings peace of mind during a vulnerable season.

Updated office flooring will help improve the space where families are welcomed, encouraged, and connected to resources. Our office is often one of the first places where residents and community members receive support, guidance, and hope. A clean, safe, and welcoming environment matters.

A reliable vehicle will allow Bridges SafeHouse to better meet the transportation needs of the families we serve. Many of our clients rely on us to help them get to WIC appointments, medical visits, daycare, grocery stores, job-related needs, and other essential services. Transportation can be one of the biggest barriers for families working toward stability. With a dependable vehicle, we can help remove that barrier and make sure mothers and children can access the care and resources they need.

The families served by Bridges SafeHouse are often navigating difficult circumstances while working hard to rebuild their lives. Safe housing is just the beginning. Families also need access to healthcare, food, childcare, resources, and a secure environment where they can focus on moving forward.
