Young boys learn differently than girls. I am proud to support the Solar schools because I know my child is getting the individual attention and support he needs to grow into a thriving and well-rounded young man.
The single biggest indicator of high performing schools are teachers. I am supporting Friends of Solar Prep this year in order to ensure that our stellar Solar teachers have the resources necessary to ensure our scholars achieve their full academic potential.
Friends of Solar Prep exists to help bridge funding gaps between what the school district’s funding provides and what is needed on our Solar campuses for higher academic achievement.
STEM education, in particular, costs approximately $150 - $200 more per student, per year. On NTX Giving Day, we need your help to raise $75,000 to support our Solar scholars in achieving their full academic potential.
