The People’s Institute for the Common Good (PICG) creates spaces for critical dialogue, shared learning, and collective imagination about the future—for the good of humanity.
We believe stronger communities begin with people who have opportunities to learn from one another, ask meaningful questions, and imagine what is possible. Through research, learning experiences, public conversations, and community partnerships, PICG brings people together across education, work, and civic life.
Our work focuses on two interconnected areas: Postsecondary Education & Work and Lifelong Learning & Civic Life. We explore how education shapes opportunity, how people develop the capacities to navigate a changing world, and how communities can create better pathways for learning, participation, and possibility.
