Our Needs
Lakeside Community Theatre is excited to be part of the growth being seen in The Colony and in its neighboring southeast Denton County communities. The organization is experiencing an influx of talent from the local community, and looks to grow in its artistic mission and become a driving force in the cultural enrichment of the communities of The Colony, Little Elm, Carrollton, Lewisville, Frisco, Plano, and communities throughout North Texas. Funds raised during North Texas Giving Day 2023 will assist with purchasing a high-end sound system to enhance the audience experience.
Mission
Lakeside Community Theatre is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation organized and dedicated exclusively for charitable, artistic, and educational purposes. LCT exists to entertain and educate the community in the theatre and performing arts, while providing a place for local talent to shine. We aim to build a strong community identity by working together in a fun, wholesome environment.
Needs
Lakeside Community Theatre is in need of upgraded sound equipment, including new speakers and amplifiers. The goal is to raise $5,000 for purchase and installation.
