$10,000 Goal

We may be small, but we are mighty! Hannah’s Southern Paws Rescue was established in January of 2023. We hope to continue growing our foster base so that we can save even more animals going into 2024. Our vision has always been to seek out the broken and unwanted animals, and restore their spirit with love and care. We feel that God put his precious creatures on earth to give us a daily reminder of his unwavering love. There is nothing as rewarding as watching an animal in our Rescue transform, and then find their forever family. Our longterm goals for the rescue include going out into the community and providing education and resources to pet owners. Our hope is that by providing these resources, it will A) Shrink the stray dog/cat population by explaining both the medical & environmental benefits of spaying and neutering pets, along with the importance of microchipping B) Allow pets stay in their homes even when financial battles occur by offering spay/neuter, vaccine, microchipping and pet food supply resources at no cost. C) Help pet owners make educated decisions about which pets to adopt by educating them on breed specific facts.

Giving Activity

Mission

Hannah’s Southern Paws is a Nonprofit, 501(c)(3) animal rescue located in Dallas, TX. We are on a mission to save dogs and cats that are in shelters, homeless in local communities and others in need. We accept ALL breeds, no matter the size, age or health status.

Needs

Our rescue takes in majority medical cases which sometimes cost thousands at a time. Please consider making a one time or reoccurring donation to help us continue providing medical care, rehabilitation, enrichment activities, nutritious meals and all other supplies to dogs in need. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your donations are tax deductible. We could not do what we do without your support, so thank you!

Foster Homes are another huge need, and we always need them. Every time you open your heart and home to foster a pet, you are saving lives. We make it easy! We cover the medical costs, provide you with food & supplies, and we just ask you to provide the safe space, love and belly rubs.

Please shop our Wishlists posted on our website! We have many items on our Wishlist that are needed. We are always thankful for donated items that are not listed, so if you have something you’d like to share, please message us so we can send you our mailing address.

There are many other things you can do to help our rescue continue saving lives, and there is something for everyone!

A) Networking: Sharing our online posts, website and showing photos of our adoptable pets are great ways to help us out.

B) Transport: There are always pets in the rescue that need to be driven to vet visits, occasional grooming appointments and to their new foster home or forever home. Please join our Facebook Group called “Hannah’s Southern Paws Rescue Foster & Volunteer Group” to view our transport needs.

C) Assisting at Adoption Events: The more volunteers we have that can help us at these events, the more pets we can take. We would absolutely love to have the ability to bring more pets, so please let us know if you are interested in helping out!

D) Social Media: We are seeking a Social Media Manager to create and post eye catching content on our Facebook, Instagram and TikTok pages. If you are a college student needing credit hours, or would just love to help us network our beautiful rescue pets by managing our pages, please reach out!

E) Event Coordinating: We would love to host more events in the local communities, and we are looking for an Event Coordinator who can assist us by contacting local businesses and scheduling/planning themed and routine events.

There are many ways you can support our rescues mission. Please reach out and let us know if you can help us with anything you see listed, or if you have any great ideas that can help us grow!
