The DFW Elite Golf League is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Dallas–Fort Worth. Our mission is to make golf more inclusive, affordable, and welcoming for people who have traditionally been left out of the game.
We believe golf has the power to build confidence, community, and opportunity. But for many people, golf still feels out of reach. Whether it’s the cost, the equipment, the lack of access, or the feeling that you don’t belong, too many people never get the chance to play. We are here to change that.
Our organization is part golf league and part movement for access. We host regular play dates across the Dallas–Fort Worth area, meeting twice a month at public courses that rotate by region. We welcome players of all backgrounds and skill levels. Our play dates include contests, themes, twilight rounds, and social experiences that bring people together around the game. Everyone is encouraged to come as they are.
From beginners to long-time golfers, everyone in our league benefits from a strong sense of connection. We value encouragement over competition. We want people to feel welcomed, respected, and seen. Every round is a chance to build relationships while enjoying the game we love.
To make sure golf stays within reach, we created two core programs:
The Elite Access Fund supports adults who want to play but cannot always afford the costs. This fund helps cover green fees, loaner clubs, and other gear. It also gives new players access to lessons, mentorship, and development opportunities. If someone wants to learn the game but doesn’t have the means, the Access Fund makes it possible.
The Elite Futures Fund focuses on youth. We introduce golf to kids early through clinics, community partnerships, and school outreach. We collect donated clubs and gear and put it directly into the hands of children and families. We also plan to award scholarships to high school seniors who golf. We want to grow this fund to support camps, tournament entry fees, and college prep for youth players who want to stay in the game.
Both programs are funded by donations, partnerships, and membership support. Our goal is to break down every barrier — from green fees to gear to confidence — so that no one is left out.
We are proud to have grown from an idea to a recognized nonprofit in just a few months. Since forming in 2025, we’ve already launched monthly league events, grown to over 20 members, and earned our official nonprofit designation. We’ve introduced original play date themes like Sock Game Strong and Let’s Glow Crazy. We created the Golden Sock Award, celebrating the best save shot of the day. We’ve held clinics, welcomed beginners, and built something that is meaningful and growing.
In the next year, we plan to:
Fund 200 rounds of golf for adults through the Elite Access Fund
Collect and distribute at least 50 sets of clubs and gear
Launch our first youth clinics and award scholarships
Establish a home course for regular play
Grow to 100 members and increase access in all four DFW regions
We also invite golf courses, businesses, and sponsors to partner with us. Many of our members are over 60. Some are brand new to the game. Some are returning to the game after decades away. We believe in playing together, learning together, and creating space for everyone.
When you give to DFW Elite Golf League, you are helping someone walk onto a course they never thought they’d step foot on. You are giving a child their first set of clubs. You are helping an adult return to the game after years away. You are providing encouragement and support to someone who didn’t think they belonged.
Every donation helps us provide access, equipment, education, and opportunity. Every dollar moves us closer to the goal of making golf something anyone can play.
We are proud to serve the DFW community. With your help, we will continue to grow a league that is inclusive, welcoming, and built to last.
