DFW Elite Golf League

Golf changes lives. It brings people together, builds confidence, strengthens communities, and teaches lessons that go far beyond the course. But for too long, the benefits of golf have been out of reach for many. High costs, lack of access, and limited representation have kept countless adults and youth from ever picking up a club.

The DFW Elite Golf League exists to change that. We are a co-ed, all-ages, 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, dedicated to making golf more inclusive and accessible for those who have historically been left out of the game. Our mission is simple but powerful: remove the barriers, open the doors, and welcome everyone to experience what golf has to offer.

We do this through two main initiatives. The Elite Access Fund focuses on adults, especially seniors, who want to stay active, social, and engaged but face cost or access challenges. The Elite Futures Fund focuses on youth, introducing the game to a new generation and ensuring they have the tools and opportunities to grow in both skill and character.

Through these programs, we cover green fees, provide golf clubs and gear, offer lessons and clinics, and create spaces where people can connect, learn, and thrive. We help new golfers feel confident stepping onto the course for the first time, and we give experienced players a community that values camaraderie as much as competition.

In just a few months, our league has grown to more than 20 active members, with twice-monthly play dates at courses across DFW, plus twilight rounds, skills clinics, and themed community events. We’ve seen members who hadn’t played in decades fall back in love with the game. We’ve watched shy youth gain confidence as they learn the rules, etiquette, and strategy of golf. We’ve built friendships that extend far beyond the fairway.

North Texas Giving Day is our chance to expand that impact even further. This year, we’re setting a bold goal: raise the funds needed to provide at least 50 fully sponsored rounds of golf, 20 sets of clubs, and 10 scholarships for lessons or tournament fees in the coming year. Every donation gets us closer to that goal. Every dollar helps someone step onto a course who otherwise wouldn’t have the chance.
