$10,000 Goal
Since AANT was founded in 2009, we have found homes for 3,500+ animals with the help of many fosters and volunteers. To bring awareness to our mission, we:
1) Promote our adoptable animals on our Facebook page
2) Work closely with Humane Society of North Texas (HSNT) when an animal needs medical care and cannot be placed in the shelter
3) Share our mission, promote vaccination/spay/neuter and solicit help for animals in their local community through events and school visits

đSPOTLIGHT: A Volunteer Foster Impact Story
Do you have big feelings about your canine or kitty?
Then "paws" here and learn how you can help Animal Advocates of North Texas (AANT)!
This small group has saved so many of our local animals. At AANT, your time and money can make all the difference. I have seen this group go to great lengths to save local animals in need, dedicating both time and considerable resources.
I, myself, answered a post from the Animal Advocates organization who was in desperate need of a vacation relief volunteer. A foster family had an emergency and needed a place for a pup to stay for about 2 weeks. Sure, we could do that. Not a huge ask, right? We werenât going anywhere for a couple of weeks. We thought it would be great to give our dog a buddy. Little did we know how great the need was.
Looking back through my stack of pictures, I fondly remember the ones we fell in love with, the tears for the ones we lost, and the ones now living their best lives because of this organization and my little part. Please help us in any way you can: a bag of dog food, a pledge for medical bills, or, like me, open your home for an animal who needs a person to care.
- Donna Summers
We are their "safety net" - a safe place to land while we find each one of them a safe and loving home.
TOP 3 WAYS TO HELP US SAVE MORE ANIMALS:
đ˛GIVE to North Texas Giving Day (for medical wellness)
đąADOPT (for a forever home) Adoption Application | đśFOSTER (for loving care and shelter) Foster Application
AANT'S strives to prevent animal cruelty and neglect in Keller and the surrounding communities. With hope that the euthanasia rate of perfectly healthy and well behaved animals is reduced, we work to develop a foster and rescue network to increase the placement of homeless and abandoned animals into permanent and loving homes.
