Support Dallas Art Therapy with Theresa
$100 Raised
In 2017, Dallas Art Therapy began providing free open studio art therapy and mental health services for the Dallas community. Over the past five years, we have expanded our outreach to the DFW metroplex and have added individual therapy as well as group therapy to our continued open studio art therapy time. We diligently work on gaining partnerships with other organizations who need an art therapy programing but otherwise cannot afford to hire credentialed art therapist services. Having a credentialed art therapist as the provider in any art therapy program is essential in keeping the fidelity of the specific program and the mental health field as a whole. Some of our partners include: Newport Healthcare, The Meadows Outpatient Center Dallas, Foundation 45 and Ventana.
Our vision is for art therapy and mental health care to be accessible to everyone. Our mission is to provide mental health care in the form of art therapy by credentialed art therapists and comprehensive wraparound services for free or low cost to the North Texas community. In 2021, we have begun and continue to expand our outreach and build our programs that offer art therapy and the wraparound services most needed by our clients and community.
