Our Philosophy
Be Part of the Wylie Prep Story
It all began in the summer of 2000, when a passionate group of families came together with one vision: to create an educational experience that combines academic excellence with a caring Christian environment. They dreamed of a school where students are guided not only by professional Christian educators but also by parents committed to high moral and academic standards.
Through prayer and research, they discovered the University-Model® School (UMS)—a proven approach now implemented in over 80 schools nationwide. From that inspiration, Wylie Preparatory Academy was born in 2001, starting with grades 1–6 and steadily growing to a full K–12 program by 2011, adding Pre-K in 2017.
Today, our mission continues: we aim to Grow Servant Leaders, Develop Wise Thinkers, and Create Culture Shapers. Every student at Wylie Prep is learning to lead with integrity, think with clarity, and impact the world for Christ.
