Thank you for considering a donation to White Rock Rowing this North Texas Giving Day! We believe that rowing has the power to change lives, which is why we welcome everyone to experience the sport with us.
As a National Championship-winning club, we are committed to providing opportunities for youth and adults in the Dallas area. Our boathouse offers programs for middle school, high school, college students and adults, including athletes with physical disabilities. Our robust summer learn-to-row program has helped introduce the sport to hundreds of kids.
Each year, our athletes compete against the top programs in the country on the national stage. White Rock Rowing has earned numerous state championship titles and consistently qualifies to compete at the National Championships. For many of our athletes, rowing becomes a pathway to attending prestigious universities and earning scholarships to help make their dreams a reality.
We need your support to continue providing these opportunities. Your donation will help us equip our programs with the resources they need to succeed.
Your generosity will directly impact our programs. Please consider donating and help us continue to empower the next generation of rowers.
Thank you for your support.
White Rock Rowing changes lives by putting oars and opportunities in the hands of Dallas youth. We foster a culture of teamwork and leadership, preparing our athletes for success in sports and in life.
SAFETY LAUNCHES & ENGINES
Safety launches are essential to every on-water practice, allowing coaches to stay alongside athletes, provide real-time instruction, and respond quickly when assistance is needed. Reliable launches and engines are critical not only for effective coaching, but also for maintaining a safe training environment on White Rock Lake. As our equipment accumulates thousands of hours of use, replacing aging engines and maintaining dependable safety launches has become an important priority. Investing in this equipment will help our coaches safely follow practices, reach athletes quickly, and provide the hands-on instruction that helps rowers develop confidence, technique, and speed.
OARS
Oars are one of the most important pieces of equipment our athletes use every day. Over time, blades, shafts, and handles experience significant wear from thousands of hours of training and racing. Replacing aging oars and worn components with new, high-quality equipment will give our athletes more consistent and reliable equipment while improving the quality of their on-water training. Updated oars help rowers develop better technique, apply power more efficiently, and translate their hard work into faster, more competitive rowing.
WEIGHT ROOM REVAMP
Strength training is an important part of developing stronger, healthier, and more competitive rowers. Updating our weight room with improved flooring, mirrors, and modern training equipment will create a safer and more effective environment for athletes to build strength, power, and endurance. These improvements will allow athletes to train with better technique, give coaches more tools to develop well-rounded rowers, and ensure our training facilities continue to meet the needs of a growing program.
