UNT Dallas Foundation

A nonprofit organization

With an expanding campus overlooking the downtown Dallas skyline, The University of North Texas at Dallas is preparing today’s students for the competitive job market of tomorrow. UNT Dallas is one of the most affordable four-year universities in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area and the only four-year university in the City of Dallas. We offer our Trailblazing students rigorous academic programs, hands-on experiential learning opportunities, a career-ready education, technology assistance, a food pantry, wellness options, a mentoring program and affordable tuition plans that help minimize student debt. With the opening of the new STEM building scheduled for Fall 2024, UNT Dallas continues to demonstrate its commitment to empower, transform and strengthen the lives of our students and the communities we serve.

Mission

The mission of the UNT Dallas Foundation is to mobilize philanthropic investment to measurably affect positive change in UNT Dallas' ability to provide an educational experience that transforms lives.

The mission of the University of North Texas at Dallas is to empower students, transform lives, and strengthen communities.

Needs

As part of the UNT System, we embarked on a journey to establish a values-based culture earlier in 2023. Collectively, as a values-driven system, we identified the core values and behaviors that we all agree to live by: Courageous Integrity, Be Curious, We Care, Better Together, and Show Your Fire.

This year for North Texas Giving Day, we want to show that we care for our students by amplifying the campus resources and support systems that are so critically needed. Our Counseling & Wellness Center provides students with mental and emotional support, in addition to stress management techniques and wellness resources that help guide them from matriculation through graduation. And our Trailblazers Care Pantry serves all of our students by offering free food items, toiletries, and a selection of clothing from our career closet to help students who may be experiencing food insecurities or need assistance with basic needs.

We ask you to learn more about these services, their impact, and how you can help the university continue to provide these resources to students. Please select a link from our featured campaign and make a commitment to support a UNT Dallas student.

Thank you for demonstrating how you share our values by helping us provide the resources and services that our students need to be successful.
