$15,000 Goal

Since 1909, United Community Centers has been guided by Christian principles to serve and empower those in need. Today, we carry that legacy forward by empowering learners and strengthening families through literacy-rich early childcare, food pantries, and family resource events.

That legacy now lives on across four neighborhood centers: Bethlehem, Polytechnic, Wesley, and now Maren Grove. Together, 52% of Pre-K–7th grade students in our Literacy Program achieve on-grade reading levels, more than double the rate of local schools we serve.

This year, we're proud to welcome Maren Grove Early Learning Center as our newest site, our first new center in over 50 years. Located in a community with limited access to quality early childhood education, Maren Grove brings Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 programming to families who need it most, extending the same literacy-rich foundation that has shaped our work since the beginning. Check out our custom tab to learn more about Maren Grove and our early childcare programming.

We reach over 15,000 people annually across our programs. For generations, we've been making an impact on Fort Worth families, and we plan to continue doing so for generations to come.

United Community Centers serves families across Fort Worth, and we welcome everyone who walks through our doors. Our neighbors come from different backgrounds, races, ages, and life circumstances, and that diversity strengthens the work we do.

Guided by Christian principles, we believe every person deserves dignity, opportunity, and a place at the table. We work to make sure our staff, volunteers, and leadership reflect the communities we serve, and that everyone we work with, from families in our programs to donors and partners, is treated with respect.
