This North Texas Giving Day, The Conservancy at Turtle Creek Park invites our community to help us invest in what comes next.
Our work extends far beyond maintaining this historic landscape. We are continually looking for meaningful ways to improve the Park, enhance the visitor experience, and ensure that this extraordinary 20-acre urban oasis remains beautiful, welcoming, active, and secure for generations to come.
This year, funds raised through North Texas Giving Day will help advance several important projects throughout Turtle Creek Park.
Bringing Wellness Outdoors: National Fitness Court Studio
Turtle Creek Park has long provided a natural setting for walking, running, movement, and wellness. The new National Fitness Court Studio will build upon that tradition by creating an exciting outdoor destination dedicated to fitness and healthy living.
Designed to make movement more accessible, the Fitness Court Studio will give our community another way to experience the Park — whether stopping in for a workout, incorporating strength training into a run or walk, or simply enjoying an active day outdoors.
This investment represents an important step toward making Turtle Creek Park an even greater resource for the health and wellness of our community.
Constructing the East Parcel Monument Sign
The new Monument Sign will create a distinctive and lasting marker for Turtle Creek Park, reflecting the beauty, history, and character of this important Dallas green space.
Located on the East Parcel, the sign will feature brickwork, limestone signage, and lighting, creating a thoughtfully designed permanent feature that complements the surrounding landscape.
By supporting the construction of the Monument Sign, North Texas Giving Day donors can help complete an important improvement to TCP and create a lasting symbol of the community’s investment in Turtle Creek Park.
Renewing the Lawn at Arlington Hall
The lawn in front of Arlington Hall is one of Turtle Creek Park’s most recognizable and heavily enjoyed green spaces. It serves as a backdrop for celebrations, community gatherings, quiet afternoons, and countless everyday moments in the Park.
New grass will help restore this prominent landscape, creating a healthier, more beautiful lawn that can continue to welcome visitors and complement the historic character of Arlington Hall.
It may seem like a simple improvement, but a thriving lawn makes an extraordinary difference in how people experience and enjoy this beloved part of TCP.
Creating the Waterfall Viewing Area
The proposed Waterfall Viewing Area will create a new, accessible way for visitors to experience the Cedar Springs Cascade Waterfall and the natural beauty of Turtle Creek Park.
The project will include a dedicated viewing area with ADA-accessible ramps, allowing visitors of all ages and abilities to more easily reach the area, pause, and enjoy views of the waterfall, Turtle Creek, and surrounding landscape.
By investing in the Waterfall Viewing Area, we can create a beautiful new destination within TCP while improving accessibility and providing more opportunities for everyone to experience this special part of Turtle Creek Park.

Beyond major capital improvements, much of our work happens quietly, every single day. Our team oversees the ongoing care and security of all 20 acres, from the Turtle Creek shorelines to the winding paths, gathering lawns, and wooded areas. Every piece of litter is removed by hand, plant beds are tended with intention, and each corner is monitored to ensure TCP remains clean, safe, vibrant, and welcoming. This daily commitment protects the character of the landscape and preserves the sense of calm and wellness that visitors rely on.

The Turtle Creek Conservancy is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization committed to the conservation, preservation and exceptional care of Turtle Creek Park and Arlington Hall, while creating a public space for physical and mental wellness, community connection, senior, adult, and children's educational programs, and entertainment.

This important project will breathe new life into the Pavilion and enhance the surrounding space for visitors to gather, connect, rest, and experience the beauty of TCP. Security in Turtle Creek Park - $125,000 plus
This August, we recognized Security Awareness Month to highlight our commitment to safety. Keeping Turtle Creek Park safe, secure, and welcoming is one of our most important responsibilities. Your support helps us strengthen security throughout all 20 acres of TCP, protecting its pathways, lawns, gathering spaces, wooded areas, and creek frontage. As the Park continues to grow and improve, ongoing investment in security remains essential.
