Trinity Habitat builds strength, stability and self-reliance through affordable housing. Together, with our supporters and volunteers, we empower families to transform their lives and neighborhoods. As families need to dedicate more of their income to cover housing costs, they have less available for other basic needs such as food, clothing, and medications. Poverty housing casts lower income families into an unforgiving cycle of physical and emotional duress, compromising their health, academic achievement, and sense of security. Having a safe and adequate place to live can bring stability and hope to families who have spent years struggling to get ahead.
An influx of new homes and empowered homeowners can dramatically transform a neighborhood, so we primarily work in three partner neighborhoods in Fort Worth - Como, Hillside Morningside, and Carver Heights East. After five years, we've almost reached our goal of building 60-90 new homes in each of these neighborhoods. You can already see the transformation happening!

Trinity Habitat for Humanity would like to raise $100,000 to partner with a hard-working family in building a safe and affordable home.
Diversity & Inclusion - With the Core Values of Compassion and Respect in mind, all sectors of the Habitat organization shall be inclusive in their approach to work. That means that staff shall strive to involve people from all walks of life while never losing sight of the agency, team and individual goals and metrics. One of the natural outcomes of Inclusion should be diversity. The agency believes that perspectives born from different life experiences and backgrounds lead to greater vision and understanding. Terms defined:
a. Inclusion - the appreciation and active involvement of every diverse employee's unique talent, knowledge, and experience.
b. Diversity - all the unique traits, beliefs, talents, knowledge, styles, and experiences that every employee brings to the workplace.
Inclusion Strategy -
a. Board of Directors - The affiliate will strive to recruit a diverse board of directors from the individuals, churches and companies who are Habitat supporters. If membership traits and benefits are considered to be the same, then the goal will be to select those who bring greater diversity.
b. Staff - The affiliate will strive to broadly broadcast job openings that are not internally filled. Postings will be on widely accessible internet platforms. Additional job notifications will be submitted to the black and Hispanic chambers of commerce.
c. Partner Families - Habitat will continue to rigorously adhere to all Fair Housing Laws and other federal, state, county or city rules and regulations that affect or guide marketing and sales of our homes.
