The Stewpot aims to be a "one stop shop" for individuals and families who are experiencing poverty. or unhoused. TOur neighbors can access services that holistically address their specific needs, including case management, resource navigation; vital ID recovery and banking; Rep Payee services; education and enrichment support opportunities for at-risk children and youth; three hot meals a day 365 days each year, a food pantry and robust food recovery program; housing and housing support for unhoused individuals; and a variety of artistic and enrichment opportunities for our unhoused neighbors and those living in poverty.

SINCE 2021, DALLAS HAS DECREASED UNSHELTERED HOMELESSNESS BY 28% AND IS ONE OF THE FEW CITIES IN THE US WHERE HOMELESSNESS HAS GONE DOWN AND NOT UP!
14,844 food-insecure people were served through grocery distribution
301,102 meals were served to unhoused neighbors
990,178 pounds of food were recovered
23,909 over-the-phone assistance calls were given
5,474 vital documents were recovered, including State I.D.s and Birth Certificates
5,532 Representative Payee visits ensured individuals received benefits
78 Households stabilized through Rapid Rehousing
50 Households enrolled in our Permanent Supportive Housing Program
92 unduplicated students attended year-round programming
Funds for operating and program costs are our number one need. 88% of all expenses are program expenses.
