The Flame Foundation strives to impact Dallas communities by:

1. Enhancing diverse communities' understanding of Flamenco music/ dance and Flamenco's cultural values and contributions.
2. Increasing accessibility and affordability of flamenco dance theater for diverse families and individuals.
3. Connecting English speaking and Spanish speaking populations in an environment that breaks down traditional language barriers and celebrates cultural differences.

Mission

Our mission is to ignite our diverse communities' curiosity and passion about flamenco through presentations of exemplary flamenco artistic works and interactive, accessible education opportunities for children and adults with or without dance/ music backgrounds in Dallas. All of our events are intentionally bilingual, spoken in English and Spanish to engage and connect diverse individuals who will steadily become a strong cross-cultural flamenco community.

Needs

The Flame Foundation strives to present and design flamenco arts performances and outreach for multi-lingual, multiracial audiences ranging in age, social status, gender, sexual orientation, and citizenship status throughout Dallas communities.

The Flame Foundation strives to present and design flamenco arts performances and outreach for multi-lingual, multiracial audiences ranging in age, social status, gender, sexual orientation, and citizenship status throughout Dallas communities.

We will continue to offer accommodations for audience members with disabilities. We seek artists, staff, board members, patrons, presenters, and venues from an array of zip codes and from a variety of backgrounds. We cultivate an equitable, creative working environment in which everyone is expected and held accountable to engage respectful, non-discriminatory language/ behavior during all platforms of communication and interaction. We endeavor to bring our flamenco education and presentations to residents and visitors who represent the abundantly diverse city of Dallas.
