Matthew 5.14

"You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden."

We know in the context of scripture that our "light" is not a physical light, but the way that a believer carries themself in accordance to God's word to further the kingdom as living examples of God's goodness. We are to push back the darkness by shining the light of Christ for the world that has no idea that it is even in the dark.

The Promise has, for 34 years, been a light on a hill. Our mission of presenting the gospel using the arts has been successful due to the faithfulness of The LORD in provisions, but also the faithfulness of those who have carried this vision. The aging infrastructure of the Texas Amphitheater presents a challenge in the continuing of this unique ministry, BUT it also presents an incredible opportunity for God to show His power through our faithfulness to Him. In addition to presenting The Gospel, we also maintain this venue for use in a myriad of other ways. We
provide a place for organizations to hold yearly dance recitals, graduations, benefit events, and other presentations of The Arts.
