As one of the longest-servicing rescue and adoption groups in the Dallas/Fort-Worth area, and focused exclusively on cats/kittens, Texas CARES has assisted in finding several thousands of forever homes for the almost 30 years we have been in existence.

Texas CARES mission is to be a resource for the rescue and adoption of cats and kittens in the Dallas and surrounding area.
Texas CARES is in need of financial donations to help provide rescued cats and kittens the medical care they need. Funds raised will also assist in getting fosters the supplies they need including food, litter and toys.
Texas CARES prides itself on finding adoptable cats and kittens homes to anyone who is able to provide a safe and loving home, regardless of ethnicity or gender. Our Board has several members of the LGBTQ Community working hard to continue to continue our Mission to be open and inclusive to all potential adopters.
