Every Child Deserves Access to Healing
When a child discloses abuse, healing often requires specialized support and access to services beyond what one organization can provide alone. Some children need specialized counseling, a higher level of mental health care, psychiatric services, or support closer to home. Others face transportation or financial barriers that can delay treatment.
The Children's Advocacy Center of Parker County created the Mental Health Access Fund to help ensure children and families can access the care they need, when they need it. As demand for mental health services continues to grow, this fund helps support contract therapists, specialized referrals, assessments, psychiatric services, transportation assistance, and other critical resources not always covered by traditional funding sources.
The Mental Health Access Fund helps ensure children and families can access the right care, at the right time, in the setting that best supports healing.

- $50 helps remove barriers to care through transportation assistance, treatment resources, or other family support needs.
- $100 helps connect children and families with counseling, support services, and community resources.
- $250 helps offset the cost of counseling or other therapeutic services not otherwise available to a family.
- $500 helps provide access to specialized assessments, psychiatric services, or higher levels of mental health care.
