DUC PINK — Paddles Up for a New Dragon Boat
At DUC PINK, we are united by a shared experience and a common goal: to empower and inspire those living with a breast cancer diagnosis. Through the exhilarating sport of dragon boating, we show that a full and active life after diagnosis is not just possible — it's out on the water every week.
This year, we're raising $12,000 for a new dragon boat. One boat carries twenty-two of us at a time — twenty paddlers, a drummer, and a steersperson — and every seat is a survivor or supporter proving what life after breast cancer can look like. Our team has grown; our fleet needs to grow with it.
Dragon boating is more than a physical activity. It's a powerful symbol of resilience and hope. It gives us a way to showcase the strength of our community, raise awareness about breast cancer, and highlight the incredible journey of life after diagnosis.
