Help Service Unit 408 support Girl Scouts in southwest Flower Mound from Kindergarten through 12th Grade. Our troops help our girls build confidence and character through girl-led hands-on and cooperative learning, focusing on STEM, life skills, the outdoors, and entrepreneurship. Funds collected on North Texas Giving Day will benefit our Family Partnership goal. Family Partnership is a way for families to support the work of Girl Scouts with a portion of the funds also supporting our local service unit. These funds help support volunteer training, camp upkeep, innovative programming for girls, and financial assistance so that all girls can experience Girl Scouts in Northeast Texas.
- $25 can provide need-based financial assistance for a Girl Scout membership for one year.
- $50 can provide uniforms and resources for two Girl Scouts.
- $100 can provide food for the horses at Camp Bette Perot.
- $250 can provide equipment for canoeing and kayaking at Camp Gambill.
- $700 can allow a girl to attend resident camp and provides her with the gear for her to have a high-quality experience.
- $1,400 can send two future best friends to camp.
Please consider making a donation now through Thursday, Sept. 18, and thank you for helping empower the next generation of leaders!
