Donkey & Equine Haven is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization where I serve donkeys, mules and other equines who are abandoned, neglected, abused, or otherwise forgotten. The challenges faced by these intelligent, loving animals are formidable, but together we can change their stories. I see miracles every day, and with your support we can increase our capacity to care for these deserving souls.
At our core, we believe that animal rescue is a sacred calling. As followers of Christ, we look to the scriptures where God entrusts humanity with the responsibility to care for the Earth and all its creatures. To "rule and reign" is not a license to exploit, but a divine appointment to serve as loving stewards, protectors, and caretakers of God's creation.
The question regarding the ethical treatment of animals is not "do they think?" or "do they feel?" but rather "do they suffer?" We can help end their suffering. As the HUMANE race.
