Theresa’s fundraiser for TBLM

In 2021, I retired from a 35 + years working with persons with developmental disabilities and their families. Looking for a way to stay involved in my community I found a meaningful way to continue following my passion for the DD community. TBLM ‘s mission of shaping kinder, more empathetic, and more compassionate communities through disability awareness education. I volunteered for the program and later joined their Board of Directors. 

I have seen first hand the impact that TBLM has had on students from throughout the metroplex. Spending time learning about disabilities from the person with a disability helps the students to make meaningful connections and in many cases lasting friendships.  Please join me in supporting this awesome program.
