Big Brothers Big Sisters Greater Tarrant creates life-changing mentoring relationships for kids who need someone in their corner. Each mentor (“Big”) is paired with a child (“Little”) to help them build confidence, make healthy choices, and see what’s possible for their future.

This year, we will serve more than 1,500 youth and families across North Texas — but hundreds more are still waiting for a mentor.

The Impact of Mentorship

98% of Littles are promoted to the next grade and graduate high school on time.
$95,000+ in scholarships supported our graduating seniors this year across Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star.
97% of graduates go on to college, the military, or the workforce.
Littles earn 15% more income between ages 20–25 compared to peers without mentors
Mentorship helps close two-thirds of the socioeconomic gap, with Littles’ adult income aligning more closely with their Bigs’ than their family of origin.
