Every Child Deserves the Opportunity to Find Their Passion
As a homeschooling mother of 4, she understands that every child learns differently—and that each has unique talents, interests, and dreams.
She wanted her children to experience youth sports, STEAM activities, and enrichment programs where they could build confidence, make friends, and discover what excites them. But enrolling four children came at a cost her family simply could not afford.
Through the Arlington-Mansfield Area YMCA’s financial assistance program, she no longer has to choose which children receive an opportunity. Each child can participate in a program that reflects their individual interests—whether that means joining a sports team, exploring science and technology, or discovering a new creative passion.
Her children are not being placed into one program because it is the only affordable option. They are being given the freedom to explore who they are and what they can become.
