Forensic Interview Team Fundraiser

As a staff member at the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County, I see the impact of your support every single day. Behind every door in our Center is a child who has experienced unthinkable trauma—abuse, neglect, or exploitation. And yet, thanks to supporters like you, that child is not alone. They walk into a space filled with compassion, care, and the promise of healing.

For us, this work is more than a job. Every day, we have the privilege of sitting with children during some of the hardest moments of their lives and helping give them a safe place to be heard.

As a Forensic Interviewer at the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County, we get to witness what can be one of the first steps toward healing. A forensic interview gives a child a safe, child-centered space to share what they have experienced, in their own words and at their own pace. Our Forensic Interviewers are specially trained to listen, ask developmentally appropriate questions, and help children find their voice.
