Jennifer Jones never imagined that the hardest chapters of her life would become the foundation for something so transformative. Years ago, she found herself in a place of deep isolation; emotionally bruised, spiritually weary, and unseen. The silence around domestic violence was deafening, and the shame it carried made it nearly impossible to ask for help.
But Jennifer did ask. And slowly, she began to heal.
Her journey wasn’t linear. It was marked by setbacks, quiet victories, and the unwavering belief that every person—especially those who’ve endured the trauma of domestic violence—deserves to feel seen, worthy, and loved.
Out of that belief, Hagar’s Heart was born.
Named after the biblical figure Hagar, who was cast out and yet seen by God in the wilderness, the organization became a sanctuary for survivors. Jennifer knew that healing begins not just with shelter or safety, but with dignity. She created programs that nurture the caretakers, restore the hearts of survivors, and remind every survivor their story matters.
Today, Jennifer stands not just as a founder, but as a voice for the voiceless. Her message, "Seen. Worthy. Loved." is more than a tagline. It’s a lifeline. It’s a declaration that no one is invisible, and that self-love is a powerful force for healing and change.
