At Superior Floors, we believe that to truly thrive as a business, we must invest in the communities we serve. Since 2006, we have proudly partnered with Hearts for Homes, a Christian outreach dedicated to improving the living conditions of low-income senior homeowners in Denton County. Our Founder and CEO, Michael Cline, has had the honor of serving as an advisory board member for nearly two decades, helping guide an organization that is truly changing lives.

Hearts for Homes’ mission is simple yet profound: to provide hope, dignity, and safety for seniors by offering no-cost home rehabilitation, repairs, and essential maintenance. For many of these homeowners—ages 60 and older—their home is their only anchor of security, yet often, they lack the means to maintain it. Whether it’s repairing a failing AC unit in the relentless Texas summer or installing safety modifications to prevent dangerous falls, Hearts for Homes steps in where the need is greatest.

In the past 20 years, H4H has served 1,185 clients working 7,896 projects with the support of 100,687 volunteer hours. H4H clients have incomes that fall at or below federal poverty levels, close to a third note a disability, and 70% are women, often widows. Their home is their sole anchor of economic security. Without H4H, these seniors would be at high risk for greater economic instability that could lead to homelessness, greater risk of severe injury from falls and other health risks, depression, and more.

This North Texas Giving Day, we’re proud to stand with Hearts for Homes once again. From now until September 17th, Superior Floors will match every dollar donated—up to $5,000—doubling the impact of your gift. Together, we can ensure seniors have a safe, comfortable place to call home—because no one should have to choose between their safety and their stability.

Join us in supporting Hearts for Homes and be part of a story that repairs homes, restores lives, and builds a stronger North Texas community.
