Help Me Empower Dallas Educators and Students!
As United to Learn's Advancement Manager and a former early childhood educator, this mission is deeply personal to me. I know firsthand what it’s like to walk into a classroom full of hopes and dreams—but empty of essential supplies.
Straight out of college, I had no idea how I could afford to give my students the materials they needed to learn, grow, and feel safe. That first year, a classroom grant changed everything. I was able to transform my space into a vibrant hub of learning and connection, where students felt seen, supported, and excited to engage.
Now, I’m on a mission to pay it forward.
My goal? Raise $5,000 to fully fund 10 new teacher resource grants across Dallas ISD. Each $500 grant helps an educator create an environment that supports not only academic achievement but also emotional well-being and belonging.
This isn’t just about pencils and paper. It's about dignity. It’s about students walking into classrooms where the lights work, the materials are relevant, and the space says,
“You belong here. You can succeed.”
When students have access to strong instructional materials and supportive classroom environments, they can gain the equivalent of up to two additional months of learning in a single year. That’s life-changing.
Let’s give our students what they need to thrive.
Let’s show our teachers they are not alone!
