Selah Creek exists to give young mothers who have experienced trauma, neglect, or instability the support, structure, and resources they need to heal and thrive. Choosing life for a baby is just the beginning. These mamas need guidance and support to care for their newborns, pursue education, gain job skills, and build independence.

Mama D arrived at Selah Creek determined to create a better life for herself and her baby. Over the past year, she has stayed focused on her baby, taken college classes, worked to save money, and focused on healing from past trauma. With Selah Creek’s support, she’s not just surviving—she’s building skills, gaining independence, and creating a stable, hopeful life for herself and her child, with plans to live independently in the months ahead.
