Ronald McDonald House of Dallas is more than just a building—it’s a place of refuge, compassion, and care for families facing the unthinkable. When you have a sick child, you have a sick family. In the midst of some of their most frightening and uncertain moments, RMHD provides a place where a parent can take a breath, a child can smile again, and families can feel a little less alone.

When I first began volunteering at RMHD in 2019, I had the privilege of witnessing this magic firsthand. What started as volunteering quickly became a deep commitment to serving these families, and I’ve been honored to be part of the RMHD mission ever since. Now, as the Manager of Volunteer Services, I have the incredible opportunity to share that passion with others and help them discover just how meaningful our mission truly is.

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to hold hands with families during some of their darkest moments and cheer alongside them during their brightest. I’ve seen firsthand that healing a sick child takes a village—and we are incredibly fortunate to play even a small role in that support system.
