Comet Cupboard

Students are back on campus and the Comet Cupboard needs your help to keep it's shelves stocked. Demand at the cupboard continues to rise. Last year, to start the fall semester, generous supporters gave nearly $18,000, helping us launch our new Mobile Food Pantry, expand access to 24/7 to-go bags, increase fresh and refrigerated options and serve 2,800+ students through 14,5000 visits and distributing nearly 130,000 items — but shelves still ran low. This year, we aim to meet the rising demand and continue these vital initiatives. 

The Mobile Food Pantry Makes a Big Impact.

Local partners have more to give but cannot always deliver. The mobile food pantry lets us collect donations, reach more students with pop-up locations and build stronger local partnerships.

Fresh Produce, Meat and Dairy is in High Demand

Refrigerated items are our most requested but run out quickly. Increased funding means more deliveries, more often.

Get Involved

1. Drop off a donation: cereals, cooking basics and personal hygiene products fly off the cupboard’s shelves.  You can donate any of the most-requested items at one of 16 locations across campus.
2. Volunteer: staff and student volunteers have provided over 16,500 volunteer hours and distributed over 600,000 items to date. Fill out this interest form to volunteer with us.
