Students are back on campus and the Comet Cupboard needs your help to keep it's shelves stocked. Demand at the cupboard continues to rise. Last year, generous supporters powered us to serve over 2,800 unique users across 14,500 visits and to distribute nearly 130,000 items last year!

By supporting the Comet Cupboard this North Texas Giving Day, you will empower us to:

  • Launch the new Mobile Food Pantry.
  • Expand our ability to stock popular produce and fresh food options.
  • Serve 3,000+ unique Comet Cupboard users the coming academic year.

Why the Mobile Food Pantry Matters

Many local partners have more to give but cannot always deliver. Now, we can schedule regular pick-ups, harness time-sensitive donations and start offering pop-locations on campus to reach more students with this major addition to the Comet Cupboard.

Fresh Produce, Meat and Dairy is in High Demand

Fresh items are the most requested items, and we often run out only a couple of days after each delivery. With your support, we can arrange for more deliveries each month to meet this demand.

Your Impact

Every single item the Comet Cupboard has ever distributed was the result of a donation. Your gift, big or small, truly makes an impact. Beyond accessing nutritious meals, your support helps inspire students to persevere knowing that a community of supporters cares about them and their success.

Get Involved

  1. Drop off a donation: cereals, cooking basics and personal hygiene products fly off the cupboard’s shelves.  You can donate any of the most-requested items at one of 16 locations across campus.
  2. Volunteer: staff and student volunteers have provided over 16,500 volunteer hours and distributed over 600,000 items to date. Fill out this interest form to volunteer with us.
